Winnipeg has tons of public squares and "greenspace", but far too few people to actually populate them. These things don't work unless there are people in them. Hopefully Millennium Library Park will be one of the success stories... it already looks quite a bit more pleasant than it did in its previous incarnation. Having the barren brick walls of the Post Office replaced with something more visually appealing probably won't hurt either in that regard. One Man Committeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10586227505412268204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559260500579382213.post-58991008469761802972012-07-21T04:33:31.393-05:002012-07-21T04:33:31.393-05:00Better they should have put a couple of concrete b...Better they should have put a couple of concrete benches in the park and spent the rest on books for the library.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559260500579382213.post-55687596999156190632012-07-20T23:44:54.984-05:002012-07-20T23:44:54.984-05:00I don't think Bart's sticking with anythin...I don't think Bart's sticking with anything.
